roulette g6604aadfc_640Roulette is a slot game named for the French word "little wheel". The game evolved from the Italian Biribi game. A player can place bets on one or several numbers in addition to the color black and red. There is also the option of betting on whether the numbers are odd, even or high (19-36), or low (18-18). A croupier rotates a wheel in one direction. The player turns the ball around along the track, which is circular and tilted, that runs around the outside edges of the wheel in order to determine the winning number. When momentum is lost and falling, the ball lands on an arc of deflectors before falling on to the wheel. Anyone who bets a winning bet is paid out the winnings.
